The Power Of Quiet
”Planting Seeds”

A Day Long Urban Retreat Honouring the Spirit of Spring
March 25th, 2023
9a-5p

“Seeker, do you remember? Listen in the silence. Your own heart is calling you back home.”… . (Dorothy Hunt)

Spring! The time of year that represents promise, growth and the re-emergence of Mother Nature as she breaks grounds and brings her glorious colours back into the world. In this mini retreat called “planting seeds”, we’ll take the opportunity to dig in and bring forth some clarity and new seeds of intention.

This is a day for giving yourself permission to rest. Permission to re-ignite or fan the flame of your inner power as a healthy and unique human being. The world needs you and what you have to offer. Not a depleted, overworked barely connected You- but a powerful, fully alive , truly engaged You.

Spring is called the “Morning of the Year”- the perfect time for a reset- a rebirth if you will.

We’re surrounded by life cycles- daily- the cycle of the sun and the moon, monthly -the moon cycles- , life and death in so many ways and… when we’re willing and open to the wonder of it all – these cycles remind us tenderly of the fragility and benevolence of life and how we are wholeheartedly supported on the path to connection and reconnection with our ever-present true nature… except …when we forget…

The Power of Quiet workshops allow for deep self nurturing and inquiry so that you can reconnect with YOU. They are based on one of the 4 seasons (primarily through the Taoist or Chinese Medicine tradition) as a preparation to develop practices that align you with the cycles of Nature. We rest, we laugh we contemplate and begin to create a new kind of resilience for you to take back out and share with the world.
